Batumi

Batumi is an exciting and dynamic mix of cultures and architectural styles.

The history of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus has its roots in the distant past. Batumi has been a Greek, Roman and Byzantine colony.  The Turks ruled the Caucasian coast for three hundred years, and in  1878 Batumi was annexed by the Russian Empire. Now as capital of the Georgian region of Adjara, it is an important cultural and commercial center.

Deneesti Ltd provides a diversity of exciting shore excursions in and around Batumi, giving guests a chance to explore the rugged coastline and the warm Georgian culture.
