Klaipeda

Once a major port city in the Kingdom of Prussia, Klaipėda is now a charming seaside resort.

The city’s historic old town dates from the 13th to 18th centuries, and was the northernmost city in Germany and Prussia until 1918.

DenEesti organizes both classic city tours of Klaipeda and of the beautiful Curonian spit, plus visits to the Amber museum and custom home visits.

Fun fact
Cepelinai is one of the most popular dishes of Lithuania; an oval shaped dish made from potato and ground meat. It got its name from the zeppelin or dirigible, the aircraft invented by the German Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin.
